The Teide National Park, located on the island of Tenerife, has an giant volcanic caldera, Las Cañadas, located at around 2.100 m above sea level. Inside the caldera there is an impressive and still active stratovolcano, the Teide, with an height of 3,718 m above sea level and 7,500 m above the ocean floor.
